Fearless announces ‘Punk Goes Pop 5’

Fearless Records has set a November 6, 2012 for their fifth entry in the Punk Goes Pop series. The series includes 2000’s Punk Goes Metal , 2002’s Punk Goes Pop , 2003’s Punk Goes Acoustic , 2005’s Punk Goes 80’s , 2006’s Punk Goes 90’s , 2008’s Punk Goes Crunk , 2009’s Punk Goes Pop 2 , 2010’s Punk Goes Classic Rock and Punk Goes Pop 3, 2011’s Punk Goes Pop 4 and more.

Participating “punk” bands include: Memphis May Fire, Upon This Dawning, Mayday Parade, We Came As Romans, Like Moths To Flames, Breathe Carolina, Forever The Sickest Kids, Issues, The Maine, Crown The Empire, Craig Owens, The Word Alive, and SECRETS. They will tackle songs by Bruno Mars, Carly Rae Jepsen, Gotye, The Wanted, Fun., Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Cyndi Lauper, Maroon 5, Coldplay, Kanye West, and Gym Class Heroes.
