Mescaleros catalog reissued for Joe Strummer’s birthday

As fans celebrate what would have been Clash frontman Joe Strummer’s 60th birthday this year, Hellcat Records has announced plans to reissue all three of Joe’s albums with The Mescaleros. The albums - 1999’s Rock Art and the X-Ray Style 2001’s Global A Go-Go, and 2003’s Streetcore, will be remastered and released on vinyl, and CD with bonus tracks.

All three are due out September 25, 2012.

A single “digital” box set release with all three albums and their bonus tracks is due today for Joe’s birthday, August 21, 2012. It’s titled The Hellcat Years and you can find it for $25 on iTunes or Amazon.
