Tom Petty wants Bachmann to lay off 'American Girl' → politico.com

awomansplace:

kateoplis:

Republicans rejected yet again by Rockers.

‘American Girl’ belongs to Hillary Clinton, thank you very much.

“O’Donnell also reported that Petty asked George Bush not to use his song “I Won’t Back Down” in 2000, but apparently allowed Hillary Clinton to use “American Girl” during her 2008 campaign.” (via)

Hillary also played “I Won’t Back Down” at her rallies.  Looks like Petty is a Democrat, or has a crush on Hillary.

An entertaining little article that you can kill some time reading. Nothing groundbreaking or shocking to be found to be honest. Its just funny that Tom Petty loves telling republicans to go get bent
